Gabala
Gabala which was the capital city of Caucasian Albania is located in northern Azerbaijan.
Chukhur Gabala village has ancient ruins from the city’s time as the capital of Caucasian Albania. To the west, Nij is home to the native Udi people. Gabala is an impressive place not only for its ancient architect from history but also for the natural landscape. On the city’s northeastern outskirts, the Tufandag Winter–Summer Mountain Resort offers ski runs. This region is popular for Nohur lake with its outstanding view around, glorious forested mountains, and cooling mountain waterfalls as Yeddi Gozel (Seven Beauty).
